This extension allows your customers to redeem their reward points directly, using a fixed conversion rate against your store’s currency.

By default, OpenCart only lets reward points be used when there are products in the cart that have a specific "price in reward points". The actual value of points varies depending on the comparison between the product price and the reward price, making it inconsistent and often confusing.

For store owners who prefer a simpler system—where reward points can be freely used (as long as the customer has them), untied to any product, and with a consistent value like 1 point = $1—this extension is the perfect solution.

Requirements

• For OpenCart 4, this extension requires VQMod.
• Please ensure VQMod version 2.6.7 or newer is installed.

1. Go to Extensions > Order Totals
2. Edit: Reward Points
3. You’ll find two new fields:
   • Enable Fixed Value — activates the fixed reward point value system
   • Value — defines how much 1 reward point is worth in currency
